While growing up in South Africa, my family and I spent all our time outdoors. We went mountain biking, hiking, camping, fishing and swimming in the sea. Anything and everything that we could do outside, we did. To this day, I continue with these activities as much as possible because I know that it plays an integral role in keeping me healthy and happy.
After completing my chiropractic studies at the University of Johannesburg, I wanted to develop myself personally and professionally. Through my past experiences, I know that to truly grow, I need to move out of my comfort zone, so that is precisely what I did. I moved to The Netherlands, where there are no mountains and minimal sun, which was a challenge for me. But it was here where I learned how vital chiropractic care is in helping our bodies to work and function at an optimal level. The true purpose and connection that I could express through being a chiropractor continued to blossom along the way.
I love being a chiropractor because of the profound shifts I see in people's vitality. When our quality of life rises, we switch on a light within us that shines out, showing others that it is possible to do the same. I am grateful for all that I have shared with people in my time here, from silent tears behind closed doors to healthy, happy, liberated bodies and families. I have experienced many memorable moments, such as mothers playing with their children for the first time in years. I have seen older men and women getting over disabilities that stopped them from walking. Children who were miserable and misbehaving transformed to calm, loving and productive at school under chiropractic care. These stories and many more inspire me to be the best chiropractor that I can be.
