What to expect
Your first visit
We’ll take the time to get to know you and explore how we can best support your health and healing. This comprehensive consultation includes a holistic health questionnaire, physical examination, posture scans, and a personal conversation about your health goals. If we determine that we can help you, you’ll receive a gentle chiropractic adjustment tailored to your body’s needs.
Intensive phase
In this stage, we focus on restoring balance in your spine and nervous system through precise, effective adjustments. The sessions are short yet powerful. Repetition is key as it helps teach your brain new, healthier neurological patterns. During this phase, we usually see you twice per week.
Stabilisation phase
Your body begins to adapt to its new balance. Muscles, discs, ligaments, and connective tissues get the chance to heal and strengthen. This will help prevent your body from slipping back into old, protective patterns. To support this process, adjustments are usually scheduled once per week.
Wellness care
We continue to support your health for as long as you feel it is best serving you. Just like eating well, moving your body, and giving yourself time to rest, regular chiropractic care is an important part of a healthy lifestyle. Together, we’ll decide the rhythm that works best for you and your goals.
Frequently asked questions
During your appointment, the chiropractor performs gentle, precise adjustments (small corrections in the alignment of your spine). This restores proper function in your spine and nervous system. Some people hear a cracking or popping sound, which is simply gas releasing within the joint fluid. What we are really doing is releasing subluxations (tension in your spine) to remove interference in your nervous system. This allows your brain to communicate optimally with your body, supporting you to heal naturally, from within.
As chiropractors, we don’t often refer to what we do as a treatment, but rather an adjustment. The word treatment suggests that something is wrong with you, but you are not broken. Pain is a natural signal from your body. With the help of chiropractic adjustments, your body can return to balance and heal itself.
No, you don’t need a referral. You can book an appointment directly at Solar Chiropractic without a referral.

Yes, you can cancel or reschedule your appointment by contacting our front desk. For first appointments, we reserve the time especially for you, so we kindly ask that you choose a time you’re confident you can attend. If you do need to cancel or reschedule, please let us know at least 24 hours in advance, so we can offer the spot to someone else who may need care.
